San Francisco, CA

It’s amazing what you can do with a great subject and environment. Oh, and a nice lens. I took this picture atop Twin Peaks on a gorgeous night with only a few minutes to set everything up.  Considering I’m not the best photographer, I’m pretty happy with the results. More in the gallery

Discrimination

It’s amazing what Prop 8 supporters will do to force their religious beliefs and fears onto others. It’s not about children, it’s about discrimination.

Snow!?

The Canadians are up to something. I’m getting hit hard by multiple emails touting over 160 cm of snow at Whistler. Tahoe barely has a foot. They must have some strange force field pushing rain down to LA rather than the Sierras!

SmugMug HQ – Mountain View, CA

Everyone should get an Odwalla fridge for the office. Really!

They provide the cooler and delivery for free, and you are only charged for what you drink. Wholesale prices, rotated stock, just like a Safeway. How can you go wrong?

quattro: great then. great now.

While you don’t need quattro on the streets of Mountain View… it sure makes it a whole lot more fun! Too bad nothing seems to confuse California drivers more than liquid from the sky. I, on the other hand, don’t freak out and drive like the roads are full of ice.

And who says size doesn’t matter? I do… 9″ at Kirkwood is highly insufficient! Bring on the snow!
